If a game has aim assist, then the aim assist abuse mod will work in the game modes where aim assist is available.
However whether it will be powerful enough to function as an actual improved assist very much depends on the game and the in game aim assist itself.
Buf generally in game aim assists are most powerful and noticeable the instance you press aim and a short duration after, so you want to stay in that small timeframe where the aim assist is most powerful.
I have no idea if this will work in B07 but this is my setting for Fortnite:
Hold: 5000 ms, release: 255 ms.
About your recoil issue. It sounds to me like the recoil mechanic in the shooting range and in game are different from each other.
Most likely the recoil mechanic in game is dynamic, meaning that when you fire your weapon full auto, the first lets say 5-10 shots have 1 type of recoil and the following shots will have a different type of recoil.
Typically the recoil increases with the shots following the first 5-10.
You can test this by standing in front of a wall and empty a magazine full auto without recoil assist. If the recoil mechanic is dynamic you will see this clearly in the change of the bullet hole pattern...
Anyways, just adjust your recoil assist in game... problem solved😉
