Analogues and Top Buttons not working

  Received my new PS5 dualsense today. Ordered it with the four paddles on the back. 

  Really like the pad, but having major issues with mapping the paddles. I have tried adding both single and dual button options. 

  Any profile I create and upload to the pad, disables both analogue sticks and all four top buttons. I have to completely reset the pad, to get them working again. The only buttons that stay working are the d-pad and the O, X, S, T. 
  Am I doing something wrong?

  I have emailed customer support also.

  Okay so, I've managed to fix the problem. Multiple attempts to update in the app, and for some reason having tried a number of times it actually pushed one through and suddenly started working. The profiles now seem to work fine and all buttons operating as they should.
